About Grains of Good Foundation
Grains of Good Foundation was founded by Olga Zhuravskaya, someone who believes in inclusion with all her heart because she herself was once a child with special needs.
As a schoolkid, Olga immigrated to the USA and went to an American school without knowing English. She was an ESL student and learned the language thanks to a resource classroom and individual support from her teachers. As a young adult, she was somewhat belatedly diagnosed with dyslexia and ADHD, but her difficulties did not prevent her from learning to work and live a happy fulfilled life.
Years later, Olga gathered a team of professionals and caring friends around her to help children and adolescents with special needs feel needed, important and safe.
Today Grains of Good Foundation participates in international projects and brings together experts in inclusion, safety and special education with special needs kids and their parents.
